FOXP3(+) CD4(+) Tregs lose suppressive potential but remain anergic during transient inflammation in human.

A loss of the suppressive function of Tregs have been implicated as a possible contributor to chemical sensitivity. This new study suggests that inflammation can cause a loss of Tregs suppressive function. This suggests that periods where inflammation is higher may contribute to chemical sensitivity.
