Health officials urge evacuations near oil spill site battlecreekenquirer.com The Enquirer: "The Calhoun County Health Department and the Michigan Department of Community Health are suggesting evacuations for 30 to 50 homes near the original oil spill site.

Calhoun County Health Officer Jim Rutherford said his agency was monitoring worrisome levels of volatile organic compounds that he said could be harmful to people exposed to them for a long period of time."
